Joseph is a corporate, securities, and venture capital lawyer working exclusively with growth companies and the venture capitalists and angels who fund such companies.

Joseph specializes and has substantial experience in preferred share issuances and convertible note financings (company-side and investor-side), M&A, private debt financings, licensing and other commercial agreements, strategic and joint venture partnerships, equity compensation, and corporate governance. Prior to founding Nivaro.law, Joseph worked for a number of years at the leading Danish law firm of Kromann Reumert and at one of the leading law firms in Israel.

He has also worked in the in-house legal department of a large Danish listed company. Joseph’s clients range from unfunded founders to mid- and late-stage private companies. Most of Joseph’s clients are tech companies including software, SaaS, wireless, health tech, mobile, Internet, medical device, biotech, clean tech, and game companies. Joseph obtained his law degree (cand.jur/LL.M) from the University of Copenhagen in 2002. He has taught international contract law at the University of Copenhagen (2004-2005).

He is a member of the Danish Bar Association, the Copenhagen Lawyers’ Association. He is licensed to practice law in Denmark and to practice law as a foreign lawyer in Israel. Joseph is fluent in Danish, English, Italian and Spanish and he also speaks Hebrew and the other Scandinavian languages.

Rasmus is a Danish commercial lawyer, with solid experience and strong track record of performance in private, public and private equity owned companies. Rasmus has a legal background with commercial and business-like mindset. He has large experience with cross-border transactions, extensive knowledge of economic, social and regulatory issues and he is capable of identifying new opportunities and solutions to the benefit of his clients.

David is a corporate lawyer with extensive experience advising Danish and international clients on complex commercial and strategic matters across M&A, corporate governance, and cross-border transactions. He focuses on providing pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice, with particular expertise in mergers and acquisitions, international commercial contracts, dispute resolution, and corporate law. David works closely with management teams, boards and stakeholders to navigate legal issues that arise in high-stakes commercial environments.

Prior to his current role, David has held senior positions at leading Danish law firms and legal service providers, including significant tenures at Deloitte, EY, Lund Elmer Sandager, Danders & More, and Magnusson Law Firm, where he developed deep experience in both transactional and litigation-related matters. His background spans both client-facing advisory work and strategic counsel for organisations operating across multiple jurisdictions.

David’s clients include internationally based companies, Danish corporates with global operations, and corporates seeking tailored legal support in both domestic and cross-border contexts. He combines legal insight with commercial sensibility to help clients achieve practical outcomes that align with their business objectives.

David earned his law degree (Cand.jur.) from the University of Copenhagen, but he also studied at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Stockholm University. He is a member of the Danish Bar Association and has played an active role in international legal networks, including leadership positions in the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA).

David is fluent in Danish and English, and has working knowledge of German and Scandinavian languages.
